Once upon a time, there was a wee tyke who wanted to write. So that wee tyke wrote stories about the subjects best known to wee tykes: toys. And that wee tyke actually sent a letter to Hasbro, asking if the story could be published. Alas, a reply was never received.

And that wee tyke grew up into a grown up tyke who still liked to play with toys (My lightsaber! Mine!) and still liked to write stories. Only now the stories were about the world that existed in that grown up tyke's head, which wasn't copyright by anyone but the grown up tyke. And everyone was happy. Especially the grown-up tyke with the lightsaber.

Welcome to K L Richardsson's writing world. It isn't a scary place, but it is an entertaining one, because you never know what's going to happen. And someday there will even be a cool logo, as soon as K's sister gets off her butt and draws it.

K's first novel comes out sometime this Fall and will be published by Prizm Books. It's a YA novel called Heart Sense, about two boys, bound together by blood magic, try to deal with what life throws at them. Even if it means learning to love each other a little.
